Privacy Policy

Apollo Projects LLC operates Apollo Trade Prep at study.apollo502.com. This policy explains what we collect and why. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run your account, we do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.

What we collect

• Account information — your username, a securely hashed password (we never store the password itself), and your email address if you provide one.
• Study progress — quiz and exam scores, which questions you missed, streaks, flashcard state, your exam date, and plan checkboxes. This is stored so it can follow you between devices.
• Purchase records — which plan you bought, the amount, the date, and a payment-processor reference. We never receive or store your card number.
• Email addresses submitted to a waitlist or sample-quiz form, together with the trade you selected.
• Basic operational data — server logs, and IP addresses used briefly for rate limiting on sign-in attempts.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics trackers, or cross-site tracking pixels. The only cookie we set is the session cookie that keeps you signed in; it is HTTP-only and expires after 30 days.

Why we collect it

To operate your account and sync your progress; to provide and support what you bought; to send transactional messages such as receipts and access notices; to prevent abuse; and, if you asked for it, to email you product updates. Our legal basis, where such a concept applies, is performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interest in running and securing the Service.

Who we share it with

Only the processors needed to run the Service:

• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing, when card payment is enabled. Stripe receives your payment details directly under its own privacy policy.
• Our hosting provider — the servers this site runs on. Data is stored in a database we control.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We may disclose information if legally required, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or ourselves.

How long we keep it

Account and progress data are kept while your account exists. Ask us to delete your account and we remove it, along with your progress, within 30 days. Purchase records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask for removal.

Your choices

• Ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing .
• Export your study progress yourself at any time — every bench has a Backup & restore panel that gives you the whole record as a code you can save.
• Unsubscribe from product emails using the link in any such email, or by asking us.
• Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your personal information; email us and we will honour them.

Security

Traffic is encrypted with TLS. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Sessions use signed, HTTP-only cookies. Administrative access is limited to the operator. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify affected users promptly.

Children

The Service is intended for adults pursuing trade licensure and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will say so on the Service. The date above always reflects the current version.
